The map is the main page that players see in the game. This is the actual location of the player in the world and depending on the area, there will be Supply Drops and Creatures visible on the map. As of update 1.3, Supply Drops are now orange on the map instead of blue (for easier visibility).

The amount of creature spawns and Supply Drops will vary depending on the information available between Ludia and Google Maps.

Depending on the rarity of the creature, there will also be a glow around the creature to indicate that it is rarer than normal common spawns.

Daylight Cycles

As of update 1.3, the map visuals change with time of day, cycling through Dawn, Day, Dusk and Night. This change is directly related to the local time of the player, depending on their real world location.

Dawn

Dawn can also be described as sunrise.

So far, in the game, most Day creatures consider Dawn and Dusk as part of Day. It seems to mostly be a visual difference.

Visually, the map has an overall light blue tinge like Day, but with an orange glow on the horizon.

Generally speaking this time is likely to be between 05:00 and 07:00.
